Inspiring Books for Menopause
Books are a great place to start, to learn about and prepare for your menopause transition. For me, reading was also one of the many joys of creating The Wiser Woman program.
I now have a growing collection of audio and hardcopy books on women’s health and menopause. Every book I’ve read or listened to is a keeper! But if I had to choose a textbook for The Wiser Woman, it would be Generation M Living Well in Perimenopause and Menopause by Dr. Jessica Shepherd.

Like many women, I navigated the wilderness of this transition alone. Facing the challenges and embracing the gifts of menopause is part of the initiation of becoming a wise woman.

Reminder: Be Gentle With Yourself
Be gentle with yourself is a phrase I repeat in times of distress. It's a reminder to be self-compassionate when I’ve done something that led to an embarrassing mistake or worse!
